Growing Seeds
ECU2 have exploring growing the last few weeks last week we started to grow cress seeds in the classroom. They grow very quickly and the children can watch the progress to see how a seed grows to a plant. They also have been learning what we need to do to make the seeds grow and how to look after them to keep them alive. Allison McGillivray
Family Day – Teddy Bears´ Picnic
Our theme this family Friday was cake decoration, Aaron form ECU2’s parents very kindly came alone and supplied their cake decorating expertise to help all the children in ECU1, ECU2, ECU3 and TY create beautifully individually designed cakes. Also Sharon, Kathy, Gemma and myself joined in with theme related activities such as action songs and craft relating to cakes. We had a ball!
A big thank you to all the children, parents for such a lovely afternoon of fun and games. Special thanks to Aaron’s mum and dad for their wonderful help!

Estimating in ECU3
Today in ECU3 we have tried to estimate how many times we could bounce and catch a ball in a minute, at the beginning it was quite difficult but in the end I think most of us understood the ‘estimating’ concept.

St Jordi
Today we celebrated Mr. Boli with activities for St Jordi. ECU2 made a rose and a bookmark for the parents. We also had a puppet show and a story from some of the students in IB. There was also a workshop about fruit and vegetables. We all had a wonderfully exciting day. Allison McGillivray

Catalan in ECU2
A Ecu-2 en una de les sessions de català vam fer d´actors. La Mercè ens va explicar el conte de la Caputxeta Vermella i després ens vam disfressar dels diferents protagonistes . Un cop ben caracteritzats vam fer la representació del conte explicat. Fou molt divertit i , sabeu què ?
a alguns de nosaltres ens feia por el llop!!!!!!!!……. tot i sabent que era un company disfressat. Ens reconeixeu ?
Heavy and Light in ECU3
In ECU3 this week in Maths we have been sorting heavy and light objects, asking the children to read the word and place the object in the correct hoop, then we placed the items in the scales talking about if they would go up or down?
