Saint Valentine´s Day – 14th February
ESCO (the school council) is organising some events for Thursday 14th February. There will be lollipops on sale at 20 cent each and roses on sale for 4 euros which you can buy and give to someone you love or a gift for a friend or family member. At break time there will be cake sale and all students are encouraged to bring a cake to sell. Cakes will be sold for 50 cents and the profits will go into the ESCO fund ready to be spent on items ESCO think are important for the students. 
Diada solidaria de Sant Jordi en el Escaan
Escaan International School ha conseguido recolectar gracias al “non-uniform day” y la venta de libros con motivo de la diada de Sant Jordi, la cantidad de 497,83€, que ha sido donada íntegramente a la Fundación Anima.

GOOD START FOR ESCO
In the first term of this year (2009-2010), ESCO has organized two main events:
Cake Sale: This event took place at the school on the thirteenth of November. The purpose of the event was to sell cakes to parents and students. The money that was collected was sent to Caritas de Barcelona. Students freely brought cakes to school that morning, and a few volunteers offered to sell them.
Sale of Christmas decorations: This took place at the school on the twenty first of December. The Christmas decorations were made by students in their respective art classes, free periods and breaks. After the Christmas concert, volunteers sold the decorations to parents and other students. The money that was collected will be sent to Caritas de Sitges.
We express our thanks to both students and parents for their cooperation and generosity.
