Painting Greece plant pots in ECU
This afternoon all children from ECU 1, 2 and 3 and seven mums had the pleasure of painting small flowerpots in the colours of the Greek flag. The parents tried to mix the right colour of blue by comparing it to the image of the Greek flag on the internet. After finding more or less the right colour blue the children started painting their pots in blue but not one time, no all painted their pots two times so we had a better colour!
After the blue paint the more delicate work of painting white flowers on the pots started. The children of ECU 3 all gave their own interpretation, the children of ECU 1 and 2 were helped a little bit
.
After painting the pots we followed Allison’s example and little paper flowers were made. Finally, with the help of plasticine all flowers were put in the pots and hurray the work was done! The result is lovely and we hope you will all come and have a look at our Greek garden during International Day. A big thank you to all the children for their great work!

International Day in ECU
International day was wonderful; lots of parents came to help their children mosaics, and constructing the Pantheon temple. And the children really enjoyed making Humus. In the afternoon the children enjoyed the songs, dancing and poems.
Thanks
